braintek embarked on its journey into the e-procurement domain by offering e-Procurement services and solutions in a then-nascent market. In just two years C1 established itself as a niche player in e-Procurement. The first big opportunity came in 2002 when the Government of Andhra Pradesh chose C1 to set up an e-marketplace for it. The project went on to win the Golden Icon award for ‘Exemplary Implementation of e-Governance Initiative’.
